Stroke Research Fund
The Cerebrovascular Research Group (CVRG) at the University of Edinburgh is a large and internationally recognised team of researchers and academic doctors. Many of us contribute to delivering stroke care in NHS Lothian and other parts of South-East Scotland. We are dedicated to understanding and improving the outcome after stroke. Our research ranges from laboratory science to research with patients and data. We have done practice-changing research on the prognosis, treatment, imaging, and recovery after stroke, which has influenced clinical guidelines and practice. This fund provides patients and the public with an opportunity to donate to support our work to reduce the enormous burden of stroke, not only in Scotland but also worldwide.
