The Euan MacDonald Centre is a collaborative network of over 300 researchers across Scotland. Established by Euan MacDonald and his father in 2007, we’re driven to find new treatments, and improve life for people affected by motor neuron disease (MND). Our mission is bold: to understand and unlock the biology of MND, to enable us to make discoveries that slow, stop, and ultimately reverse MND. We do this by undertaking research into MND both laboratory-based and patient-centred, including MND-SMART Europe’s largest ever clinical drugs trial in MND. We deliver training for the next generation of MND researchers, provide a network or those involved in MND research in Scotland and work to increase awareness of MND and MND research among the public.
