Remote3

Our aim is to inspire the next generation of students into science. Remote3 is a public engagement initiative, targeting children in remote locations underserved by existing science engagement opportunities. Drawing on world-leading research being undertaken a mile underground in the northeast of England, children are challenged to build and operate ‘Marsian rovers’ made of LEGO™. Children learn about science, to see that it is an opportunity that is open to them, develop programming, teamwork and communication skills, and have a lot of fun along the way!
