About Your Donation
Dr Frank Rushbrook, CBE was a true visionary who will forever be associated with the creation of the academic discipline of Fire Safety Engineering at Edinburgh.

To commemorate Dr Rushbrook’s pioneering vision, The Centre for Fire Safety Engineering has established The Rushbrook Fund. This will allow us to celebrate Frank’s life-long outstanding contribution and to ensure his contributions benefit future generations of young Fire Safety Engineering researchers at Edinburgh.

Gift Aid

To Gift Aid your donation, please read the statement below and tick the tickbox:

Did you know that you can increase your donation without paying a penny more? Gift Aid is a government scheme that enables the University of Edinburgh Development Trust to reclaim any tax already paid on your donation; provided that you are a UK taxpayer and that you have paid enough income or capital gains tax to cover the tax on your gift. We can then reclaim from the Inland Revenue 25 pence for every £1 you give us. All you need to do is tick the box below and complete the Contact Details page using your home address.

Please reclaim tax on all donation(s) I have made to the University of Edinburgh Development Trust in the past four years, and all donations I make from the date of this declaration until I notify you otherwise. I confirm I am a UK taxpayer and have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give and if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify the charity if you:
• Want to cancel this declaration
• Change your name or home address
• No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains
